My Nephew

Hey all, I almost forgot to post my thanksgiving shots for the year, my Nephew Dino wants to be a cook when he grows up. He prepared the dishes you see in front of him and others as well. That might explain his apparent unwillingness to share any of the leftovers with anyone as documented in this photo. continue reading…

Well after several expensive breakdowns I decided to trade in the old jeep grand Cherokee. I have always wanted to have a nice four wheel drive diesel pick up but could never afford the 40 or 50 thousand dollar price tag but now that fuel prices are what they are I was able to find one in my price range. It is a Chevy Silverado 2500HD 4WD with a 6.6L duramax diesel engine and alisson transmission. It is the smoothest driving truck I have ever owned, very comfortable and spacious and all the extras that the grand cherokee had and more, in dash GPS, back-up camera and to much more to list. The best thing and I still cant believe it because this thing is a monster it gets 20 mpg city and 26 mpg freeway. The Jeep got 14 city and 17 to 18 freeway. I should be ready if it ever snows in Ohio again :-)

Well, I have the UPS Guy the Cheese Cake Lady and now the Computer Guy. Bill stopped by the shop so we could run diagnostics on two of his machines so when the work was all done I told bill I had to test my light set up. I wanted to make sure he looked like a computer guy, which he is, so we loaded him up with computer parts.

I used a 4 light set up for this photo, the main light was a WL X1600 with a 22” beauty dish directly above the camera, 4X7 soft box camera right for fill, large white camera left for fill, X1600 rear camera right with a 20 degree reflector to light the hair and add a little dimension to the subject and then last a X1600 directed to the background to turn it white.

The Ohio State Buckeyes appear to be the new No. 1 college football team in the nation for the second time this season. Saturday night was an exciting night of college football as No. 1 Missouri and No. 2 West Virginia both lost in their last game of the college football season. Ohio State fans are anxiously awaiting the final BCS standings of the season to see who their opponent will be for the national championship game.

Some people take their turkey very seriously, like my older brother Eduardo reacts instinctively when my nephew Dino tried to claim the last leg, Dino is recuperating nicely end Eddie should be released sometime in the next ten years or so… just kidding. As you can see my brother is quite the ham or should I say quite the turkey.

Well, the Cheese Cake Lady was back with more products to be photographed for her holiday specials she plans on offering for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I photographed her new products and explained that she should have a picture of herself so when people hear of Papa’s German Pastries they have a face to go along with the name. continue reading…

My UPS Guy showed up when I was checking out my lights for a senior photo I was planning on shooting later that day, so I had him sit down and I did a couple of test shots. I used a two light setup consisting of a large 6’ x 4’ softbox camera right and a 4’ X 8’ white V bounce panel camera left I changed a seamless gray background to blue with my background light and a blue gel.
