The Buckeyes bounced back from a crushing defeat last week by the Purdue Boilermakers. The Buckeye’s looked like they were going to repeat last week’s loss during the first half. The Buckeye’s turned it on in the second half though and defeated Minnesota 38-7.

The Buckeyes totaled 509 yards of offense with DeVier Posey (eight catches for 161 yards and two touchdowns) and Jordan Hall (seven carries for 75 yards and a touchdown). Minnesota (4-4 and 2-2 in the Big Ten Conference) managed just 286 yards against the Ohio State defense.

The Ohio State Buckeyes appear to be the new No. 1 college football team in the nation for the second time this season. Saturday night was an exciting night of college football as No. 1 Missouri and No. 2 West Virginia both lost in their last game of the college football season. Ohio State fans are anxiously awaiting the final BCS standings of the season to see who their opponent will be for the national championship game.

My or I mean the Ohio State Buckeyes lost their football game Saturday to the University of Illinois most likely ruining their chances of a national championship. It is Monday and I am just now feeling up to posting an image or two. On a brighter note though it is Michigan week and I am hoping the buckeyes can regroup and beat the pants off of Michigan

The first week of the OHSAA football playoffs are finished. I covered the Dublin Coffman (11-0) vs Gahanna Lincoln Lions (8-3) game. Gahanna went into the locker room leading the Shamrocks 21-14 after scoring on fourth and one with one second left on the clock. Dublin Coffman came from behind in the second half and scored 14 unanswered points to eventually defeat the Lions 28-21.

The sun was shining brightly on a beautiful autumn Saturday at the Ohio Stadium where the Ohio State Buckeye’s were taking on the Michigan State Spartans. When Michigan State came to town back in 1998, the bucks were ranked number one in the nation and a heavy favorite over the Spartans. By the end of the day Michigan State had staged a comeback, pulling an upset and ruining the Buckeyes chance for a national title. Michigan State tried to come from behind again this Saturday but thanks to a stout Ohio State defense and the strong running of Chris Beanie Wells with 221 yards rushing, Michigan State’s bid for an upset failed.
